Wind Load on Roofs

Peak velocity pressure and zone-by-zone uplift for duo-pitch, mono-pitch, trough and flat roofs — with the required steel roof ties — following the Danish national annex, exactly as in the NGH spreadsheet.

Danish national annex — the NGH spreadsheet basis. Nationally determined parameters update the working below.

Zone coefficients are interpolated between the NGH 5° table rows.

Your inputs are saved — pick up right where you left off.

As in the NGH spreadsheet: loads from ceilings not directly connected to the roof are not included, loads from ceilings in the roof plane count as planar load, cpi = +0.2, and the stabilising effect of horizontal ceilings is disregarded. Ties are counted per zone area — always round up.
